started my journey of blogging about three months ago. I still don’t have it all figured out. Thank you to all of you who excepted my invitation to stacey-womack on FaceBook and staceywomackblog on Instagram. It means a lot to me.
I know there’s not an easy way for you to make comments, so we can all have some fun conversations around my silly stories. I hope some have made you smile, or better yet, laugh. Those darn mistakes. I read through them again and again but still find more once I post. I’m a work in progress. All of this is to help me improve my writing and find people who like it. This is important to any aspiring writer. You have to build a platform of followers. If you’ve open and read one of my blogs, you entered the mysterious world of stacey-womack.com…a world wide web. Sound exciting? What you might not know is I enjoy writing fiction/fantasy fiction and am still waiting, four months now, on one publishing house to tell me what they think about a book I wrote called Escape From Nowhere, a modern-day Hinds Feet in High Places. It’s flavor is more a long the lined of The Chronicles of Narnia. I have a few other things up my sleeve as well. It would be extremely helpful for me if you would sign-up on my website after you read a blog, with your email address. I don’t plan to do newsletters or anything like that. It’s just a list of people I can contact for when I get something published. It’s been good and hard for me to write these blogs. Hard because I have to work to remember things. It’s been good for me to work to remember happy things and write about them, even when I’m not feeling especially cheerful. Thus, a Cheerful Distraction for me and hopefully you too. Thanks again for your support. I’m humbled and thankful.
